So i feel like Ushijima isn’t usually the type to pine because he is way too blunt and would more likely just blurt all his feelings out
At first the poor boy doesn’t even realise he's pining over you, he probably brings you up a lot in conversations and is just thinking about you 25/8
At first doesn’t know what any of it means - Tendou defo has to tell him he’s pining
However i think when he knows he's fallen in love hard (cause i feel like he is oblivious a lot of the time) he definitely is scared of what would happen if he told you, so he usually admires from a distance
Tendou helps him get in touch with his feelings a bit more so he can get you to like him, little things like offering to do things for you etc.
OK SO HEAR ME OUT! He is definitely the person, say if you are on your period or feeling ill and you let him know, to google the shit out of it and make you a care package because that's what the internet says
He just rolls up to your apartment in the evening with a bag full of chocolate, painkillers, blankets, hot water bottles, he defo bought you a bear as well!
The whole shabang you know, it's the little things like this that make you realise you might have a small crush on him
Mention you like films, BAM there he is at your door with your favourite films and snacks for you both to have a movie night.

I feel like he tries to sneak loving glances at you but low key ends up just fully staring you out
You drive him crazy, the way you just sit on the bench. Hair slightly dishevelled from the wind, laughing brightly at your friends. He wanted to make you laugh like that. He wanted to be the reason your lips turned into that beautiful smile of yours.
Ushijima didn’t realise that he was staring until Tendou’s smiling face cut off his vision of you.
‘Waka-chann you’re staring again,’ he sang, doing a little finger dance. How long had he been staring?
‘I’m staring because I like her Tendou… Isn’t that what you are meant to do?’ As he asked, his face crinkled slightly.
‘There's a difference between sneaking glances and staring,’ Tendou laughed ‘you’re just too in love to stop looking once you glance up.’ Ushijima couldn’t argue with him, he knew he was in love with you and he wished he could tell you.
However there was something about you that worried him, maybe he wasn’t good enough for someone like you.
I feel like Ushi is low-key anxious about that, but like doesn’t show it? He fully covers it up with his blunt attitude
But yeah this baby pinesssss like a boss, but pretty obviously
And if you’re not oblivious then you will probably figure out that he likes you pretty quickly.
