INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADMISSION TO UG COURSES IN I.S.M FOR GOVT. AND GOVT. SURRENDERED SEATS IN SELF FINANCING COLLEGES

Candidates can only download the call letters for counseling from website www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in by using NEET ROLL NO and DOB to attend the counselling.

No individual call letters will be sent. The sms sent to you will also be considered incase unable to download the call letter.

Candidates should be present one hour prior to commencement of counselling along with one of their parent at their own cost.

Candidate should remit a sum of RS. 500/- at the time of counselling as processing fee.

Candidate should produce the following original certificates/documents without which the candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counselling.

Bonafide Certificate from 6th to 12th standard in Tamil Nadu Government School Obtaimed from concerned CEO.(for 7.5% Govt. School Quota only)

Special category certificates if any for their special category claim(for special cagtegories only)

Transfer certificate from the school last studied (or) Bonafide certificate should be produced from where the candidate is undergoing the course at present.

PARENT DOCUMENTS:

Since more number of candidates is being called for counselling, allotment is not guaranteed to everyone.

Candidates should remit fees immediately at the time of getting provisional allotment order.  Candidates are informed to read the instructions given in call letter carefully.

Candidates can attend the counselling as per the date, time and mark mentioned in the schedule if they unable to download the call letter from the websites.

If the candidate is absent for the 1st phase of counselling called for, he/she cannot attend the subsequent phases of counselling.

Those candidates who opted out of Counselling when seats were available in 1st phase of counselling are not eligible to claim the same in the subsequent phases of counselling.

A day after hinting that the NEET to be conducted twice a year, on January 8, 2021, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has given its nod to conduct the NEET 2021 twice a year. The national-level entrance exam for MBBS and BDS will now be held on the same lines as that of the JEE Main.

Just Before one month, while talking about how medical aspirants are reaching the education minister to announce NEET 2021, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said that the ministry is considering to Conduct NEET 2021 more than once a year.

According to the reports, and also by the assurance of the Education Minister as he said: "if it would not be too difficult, the ministry would consider and give students an additional chance".

The nod regarding the NEET to be conducted twice in 2021 has to come from the Health Ministry. Ramesh Pokhriyal Sir also declared that the announcement regarding the NEET 2021 dates will be made soon.

NTA has given a detailed clarification for NEET 2021 syllabus, already the authority was saying that there will be no change or reduction in the syllabus of the NEET 2021. Anyhow, this year, due to the syllabus cuts made by CBSE and state boards, There are chances that NTA would be offering internal choice to students to cover the reduced syllabus.

Health Ministry has been asked by NTA about possibilities of NEET exam to be conducted in online mode instead of offline mode. If this happens, the chances are high that NEET exam will be conducted twice in a year.

NEET aspirants made a humble request to Minister of Education Dr Nishank to provide clarity during his live session where he answered candidates' queries regarding to national level entrance exam in the session of 2021-2022. But there is no any official clarification on dates and not any clearance on examination mode to be provided by NTA still.

A day after the announcement of NEET 2021 to be conducted based on the CBSE reduced syllabus, on January 19, 2021, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has clarified said: “as the curriculum for public exams was reduced by 30 percent due to COVID-19

Therefore the candidates will have more options to answer the questions in the upcoming NEET 2021. ”Official clarity on NEET 2021 Syllabus & Exam pattern to the choice for optional questions is still awaited.
