whyyyyy wuold they do that. theyre a terribel horrible no good fit. just because theyre punk and goth does not mean theyre a good fit they literally hate each other. this was so so obviously a "we like these characters so we're gonna make them date so they have more screen time ^_^" that ends up destroying the characters themselves moments

They were a perfect team of male and female friends whose flaws complemented each other. As a couple, Nefret became domestic, nothing more than a brood mare, instead of the insane chaos Amazon she was.

Did I post about this here yet? I have been (not secretly, but not pushing too hard) working on spinning up an Amelia Peabody wiki and I'm so excited to get more people involved...it's been haphazard at best.
I just finished re-reading The Ape Who Guards the Balance and so that page has some of the most detailed tracking of characters and places so far (and I still have more to add there). Other pages just have ... dumps of quotes that I planned to use to build better descriptions of the characters. I welcome assistance. 😅
