In the adult AU (the 10 years later when the Nigel and Wally saw their negatives again)

Did the negatives kidnapped their kids?! (That’s what I believe what happened. Sorry if I didn’t read that right or understand what was happening)

If so, how did the originals gotten them back?

Yes, NegaWally (AGAIN I'M NOT WRITING THE REVERSED NAMES BECAUSE IT MAKES MY BRAIN HURT SO I'LL JUST ADD A NEGA BEFORE THE NAME DEAL WITH IT) had Penny and Sami kidnapped from their world and taken to the Negaverse. Mostly to trick Nigel and Wally and force them to go back to the upside down for a final showdown.

And then, there's this little thing... how to say it...

Sami doesn't exist in the Negaverse.

And NegaWally wanted a "spawn" to brainwash, someone with his same blood who could one day take control of their world and rule it with NegaPenelope on their side still guiding them.

Because in this world, NegaPenelope is NegaWally's second, NOT NegaNigel (and this makes him MAD).

But then, why take Penny too? Easy: because even if people are the opposite of each other, somehow the power and capabilities stay the same. So, if NegaPenelope can be a good ally for his cause, with some forcing Penny could become one, too.

Also let's remember that NegaHoagie, NegaAbby and NegaKuki are all dead, somehow, so they're out of the picture.

The only one remaining are these.

There is a final showdown that will take place between them, but somehow the Negaverse people will block the pool passage just after Nigel and Wally are in, so it's just these two against the others.

Stuff happens but the main point is: NegaWally finds out NegaKuki had a kid and that NegaNigel killed them and gets MAD. He tries to kill him but ??? gets between them and gets killed before NegaNigel. Nigel and Wally keep fighting them, using this new hostility between their other selves against them, while Sami and Penny take care of NegaPenelope. More stuff happens and NegaWally is about to be hit but NegaNigel gets inbetween and dies protecting him. This makes NegaWally REALLY mad (for the first time he shows emotions for someone) but after some fighting he accidentally gets hit to death too.

I imagined this last scene of NegaWally dragging himself to NegaNigel's body, managing to hold his hand while letting out his last breath.

Nigel and Wally get the kids and go back to their world, but for a while they don't talk to each other and also need some therapy; it's not really good to see yourself die in front of your eyes.

Nigel and Wally (in your negative sector V AU) are on the same basketball team??😭

How does Nigel feel about this exactly? Does he try to act like everything is fine and continue on with the sport? Does Wally constantly taunt Nigel and make his presence known around him? Or does Nigel just try to avoid Wally like the plague?

This took so long sorry! Lizzie is always at Nigel's practice, watching him from the seats, so Wally has to be careful if he wants to get closer to him. Unfortunately, he managed to.

Can we ever have a deeper interpretation of the relationship between Negative! Penny and Negative! Nigel?

First of all, it's PENELOPE. Never call her any stupid nicknames.

Long story short, Penelope and Nigel can't stand each other, but we need to go a bit back to understand the whole situation.

Penelope wanted to get the DNK back and rule the world. Do do that, she needed to win Wally's trust. And to do that, she used Joey and, after finding out Wally himself seemed interested in him, she used Nigel.

Wally was actually impressed by her plans and her determination, so he gladly allowed her in his graces, and she helped him get back into the treehouse and slowly re-establish his regime.

Nigel didn't take it too well. When Penelope's around, Wally didn't allow anyone to even touch her. She came before anyone else. Even Nigel. And Nigel couldn't stand that, because he wanted Wally to have eyes for him only.

Penelope knew it too well, and loved to taunt him with the fact she's closer to Wally than he'd have ever been.

Nigel once snapped and hit her.

He will never do that ever again after Wally got really mad at him.

In the time before the whole Adult AU meeting, Nigel was forced to take care of Penelope, following Wally's orders. Note that Penelope can actually age up here.

It was bad for both of them. Lots of screaming and fighting.
