Negative Harmony
Use the following procedure in order to derive the negative equivalent of a specific note.
1. Find out what key your piece is in.
2. Draw a circle of fifths.
3. Draw an axis from between the tonic and the dominant of your given key to between the two bottom notes of the circle of fifths.
4. You can now derive the negative equivalent of a certain note by looking at the opposite side of the circle of fifths.
