He’s done shitty things in the past, stemming from his awful home life growing up, but he’s always owned up to his behavior (he never uses his abusive home as an excuse for his bully ways) and actively strives to be a better person. He’s been forgiven by practically everyone he’s wronged (Peter, Sha Shan, Betty, ect.) but he still feels the driving need to prove himself…to be better, to make sure he never hurts anyone he loves ever again.He’s a good man, and he’s worked hard to get there. Hell, he helped better Venom. Calmed the frenzied alien to the point the creature considers Thompson his friend.If anyone deserves to be Venom, it’s Flash. The fact they’ve stripped him of the symbiote, regressed all it’s character development and stuck it back on Brock because Marvel’s stroking its 90s nostalgia boner is a fucking shame.
