Neil Dudgeon meet & greet fan event.
Hi all,
As some of you will know I have been trying to organise a small (ish) fan meet and greet event for Neil fans over the last year with Neil and his agent. Neil himself is interested it is just a case of nailing him down (so to speak) for a few hours.
It would also be a charity event so we would sell tickets for the event with the profit going to ITPS (http://www.itpsupport.org.uk/) a charity close to Neil’s heart.
A pass to the event would give you a personal autograph from Neil and photo opportunity with him and access to a Q&A session. There would also be an auction for some special Midsomer goodies. We are still deciding on the cost for each ticket as we want it to be affordable to everyone but at the same time we are trying to raise as much as possible for ITPS.
In addition to the pass there will also be a small number of tickets available to buy before the event to have dinner with Neil at a local restaurant that day.
We have a Midsomer location venue (no more than 80/90 people) in mind that is within our budget. At this stage it isn’t a ‘definitely going to happen thing’ we are just waiting for a time most likely to be outside of the Midsomer filming months that Neil could commit to.
However if it does happen I would need some helpers so if any of you feel that you would like to be involved esp those that have experience in organising these sorts of events please get in touch. touch.
We are still very much at the planning stage so any ideas or thoughts would be welcomed and considered such as what do you consider to be a reasonable price for each ticket?
