Made myself an evil Durge. I’ve only had Neiros five minutes, but I know this is gonna hurt the whole time.
Hola!
¡Disfruten!
¡Post de explicación!
🖊 + Neiros ;)
Oh boy! Petrels uncle!
Neiros doesn't actually like being inside often. Often he can be found wandering the canals and feeding the koi that live in them. It's been noted the koi that live in the canals closest to the Blackheart family home are larger than the ones closest to the city.
He also pulls out the occasional bits of debris that people have tossed in the canals, as well as pulling out fallen branches that the koi can't get around.
i enjoy/agree with your writing abt tzniut, esp its social position as "the most important women's mitzvah" (ew in many ways). can i ask what you think about the traditional women's mitzvot (challah, nerot, niddah)? like, how can 'women's mitzvot' be reduced to three? anyway thank you, and have a safe journey back if Mashiach somehow doesn't come :)
I wouldn’t put the overemphasis of tznius and the designation of challah, neiros, and niddah as women’s mitzvos in at all the same category.
That idea isn’t saying that there are only 3 women’s mitzvos. Obviously there aren’t - there are many, many more in which we are obligated and even more which we can choose to take on. What’s meant by “women’s mitzvos” is that those are mitzvos with which women have a particular affinity. Challah and neiros because they are connected to the woman’s special role in creating the atmosphere of the house, and because even though a man is obligated in them if there’s no woman around, if there is a woman there she does the mitzvah. Niddah because even though both the husband and the wife are affected by the restrictions of taharas hamishpacha, it all depends on the cycle of the women’s body, and she is relied upon to check and keep track of various things. She’s relied upon so much so, in fact, that even if she is not in niddah, if she says she is, she can in certain cases bring the status of niddah upon herself even in the total absence of the physical symptoms that usually bring the status.
}=No insulting fish puns for the week too, Neiros~!*>
}=Neiros you can krill lowbloods that try to use fishpuns around you though, that's still a fin you can do.*>
