Yesterday was my last day working on Bojack season 6, and I’m feeling a little sad about it. This show means so much to me and I am so honored I had the opportunity to work on it as a designer and animator. For a show about anthropomorphic animal people, it is has some of the most deeply human characters and writing out there.

It is so raw, occasionally silly, unflinching, and admittedly not for everyone. I love the women in this show. I love that they are 3 dimensional, flawed and sometimes self destructive. With each subsequent season, Bojack has made me feel less alone in dealing with problems we all face as humans.

Thank you Raphael, Lisa, and the entire Bojack crew for making this magic happen. I can’t wait to share season 6 with the world. 

Also I didn’t really realize I had the same haircut as Diane until I drew us side by side. .

Ok, so this is a @bojackhiddenjokes for no one but me, but I put my brother’s poodle Zephyr as a player for the Chicago Baby humans in episode 03 of season 06. One of the rare outfits I got to design from scratch. The mouth was a reuse, but I thought it would be fun to include.

Cindy Crawfish! One of my favorite designs, and I got to work on it in episode 01! Original sketch by @lisadraws, and if I remember correctly, @adamburnier sketched out most of the turnaround (mine has thinner lines). I did the cleanup, color, and mouth charts.🦐❤️

Have you ever wondered what Retsuko would look like in the Bojack world? I couldn’t think of a better use of my skills as a designer on the show.

Ok, so when I said “joining inktober later this month” I didn’t think it would be the end of the month. But here I am! Hoping to draw another month of belly dancers.

This is a bit silly, but sometimes I feel like my head is small in proportion to the size of my body.
