First of all, we’re not even talking “not convicted” we’re talking “literally no evidence a crime was committed.” He was never arrested, he was never charged with rape...hell she behaved so badly in the beginning of this that they couldn’t even do a proper investigation because she was hindering it. Cops don’t do shit, but this supposed victim did enough shit to make no one believe her in the first place. And I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but again.Her mom (possibly with her involved) took an evidence bag given to her by the hospital for collection of evidence [She, like many victims, had gone home and changed before going to the hospital for testing and the hospital wanted the shirt she was wearing during the attack for testing - there is nothing unusual about that] and used it instead to send herself a fake rape kit as if someone had tampered with the real forensic evidence. Had a big press conference about it and everything. Now, she didn’t end up charged with a crime in this hoax because she only “reported” it to her lawyer, not the cops. This woman supposedly found police evidence wedged in her door and didn’t call the cops - she picked it up and brought it to her lawyer’s office. Why? Because she knew it was fake and that she could probably be arrested for that. Beyond that - because, again, the motivation for that hoax could have been anything - the DNA she gave as part of her rape kit did not match Patrick Kane. ^^ That right there = not a rapist. DNA is the ONLY reason they found the man that raped me. Maybe she was raped; maybe she was even raped by one of Patrick’s friends. DNA doesn’t mean she wasn’t raped, doesn’t mean she was, but whatever happened he sure as hell didn’t do it. You don’t rape someone and then leave different DNA evidence; that is not how any of that works.And DNA is the most non-biased, impartial thing I can choose to believe in the first place! I mean, I’m going around here telling you I believe in science and you’re trying to use that as an argument that I’m a rape apologist or something. No, DNA is what I trust because (with very few exceptions) it is right/accurate and it doesn’t take sides.
But the other red flag is that literally not a single other woman has ever accused him of the same thing. Bill Cosby has 50 women that accuse him of drugging/raping them, the Cheeto-in-Chief has 12 accusers of assault/harassment. Patrick Kane has one accuser that behaved badly during the course of the investigation and provided DNA that doesn’t match his.I don’t care that you don’t like him, and you can make any statements you want about his douchebaggery because he probably acts like a jerk sometimes. But there is no evidence for me to go around accusing someone of rape that didn’t do it. That’s why the XKit guy ended up quitting the internet - because douchebags like you, Mr. Grey-face, accused him of rape based on a very obviously false story.
And IDK why anyone would think she didn’t have a motive to fake it - he had just come back from winning a Stanley Cup, I’m sure someone wanted to scam him.
I support victims, but I call out false rape allegations too. False rape allegations hurt everyone and I stay away from them like the plague.
