@neithergodsnormen For Helaena and Aegon.
Helaena pushes the door open to Aegon's apartments, she'd changed from the funeral, and Jaehaera was with her now. She was loathe to leave her, and they'd practically had to pry her away from the child for the funeral procession. Now that it was over, she wouldn't be leaving her child for anything - even this private conversation with her husband.
She lifted Jaehaera onto the bed and produced a few wooden animal toys from her dress. "Stay here while I talk to Papa." She instructs, pressing a kiss to the blonde headed child and turning to the chair where her husband sits. She takes the seat on the other side of the fire and balls some of her skirt in her hand, rubbing the beadwork with the back of her thumb.
She doesn't know how to say it, when she'd been carrying the twins she'd been so sick she hadn't been able to hide it. THe weight of that first difficult pregnancy sending her to her bed with mother's stomach for weeks - though she wouldn't have known she was more then ill had her mother not been the one to realize she hadn't bled. They'd been much closer then, her mother checking in on her most days, but after she fell pregnant that had stopped. Her mother didn't watch her blood so closely now, but Helaena did.
"We - We're - we're going to - there's -" Tears well in her eyes, unable to find the words and frustrated with herself, so she reaches for her stomach and gasps out. "Baby,"
