I FINALLY finished the character sheet I've been working on for the last...2 weeks?
I hope you like Wynstan's friend Nelengon! She's another student wizard studying at The Place, specialising in enchanted beadwork and Ilang'eni spellwork (a form of riddle magic).

Nelengon comes from a magically-aware world in which humanity has been dethroned by an ecoterrorist “demon” (a sort of magically powered, very limited artificial intelligence). Most humans were killed, or abandoned their planet and evacuated to other worlds connected by tunnelspace, but the human ancestors of her people were able to strike a deal with the giraffes who shared their territory, and were spiritually joined and became one tribe - the Lomara. In this way, they were able to continue to live on their ancestral land, despite losing many other things that they depended on.
Nelengon’s magic was present even as a young child, but because her enchanted beadwork only worked on others (as presents) it was not particularly noticed that she was the origin of the effect. Once her power was traced to its source, however, she was put under a strict regime of training by her grandmother, as survival in their world is difficult and every resource must be used carefully. There was much debate as to whether her going away to study at The Place would bring good or ill, but in the end, it was decided that she must go - and even more importantly, return to her community.
