There is never not a good time for soul/R&B music. So on this lovely Wednesday afternoon, feel the sweetness of life with Nelly’s Echo’s newest track “Song For You”. When I first heard this track, I was pretty impressed with the acoustic guitar transition into the soulful beauty of this track. Nelson, Nelly’s Echo’s creator, has some soothing vocals that just take the stress out of your life. I love the slight jazz-y feel as well, which makes it a great evening track to enjoy as the day slows down. “Song For You” is effortlessly good and you’ll be swept away.

ATTENTION FELLOW UTSA STUDENTS

Tonight at 9 in the UC ballroom we at the UCPC in collaboration with CAB will be presenting for your listening pleasure Nelly's Echo, a former contestant from The Voice as part of tonight's Beat the Semester event.

And I have a favor to ask.

I personally have another task of writing a feature of this even for The Paisano. For part of my article I've been asked to get quotes from his fans. This will obviously be difficult not knowing who specifically knew who he was before today.

SO if anyone here will be attending the event tonight and followed Nelson's journey on The Voice or had any previous knowledge of his existance, feel free to message me if you'd like to be quoted in The Paisano.

Also, if I'm unable to find already established fans, I may return to request opinions from attendees in general.

Political refugee from Nigeria, Nelly moved to Maryland when he was young, and is now living the American dream. He was recently on The Voice, and made it to the second round.

This song is If I were the King, and this video is him on the guitar and his friend  beat-boxing the percussion, and he also sneaks in a Fresh Prince verse.
