"I can't help but be a bit dramatic when I say, it feels like I haven't seen you in years," she told him with a soft laugh, wrapping her arms around him for a hug before they sat down at their table. "How's the new year treating you so far? I want to hear everything."

It didn't take long for Emira to find Axel and Sloane in the crowds of country people and she tried not to stare too long. Thankfully, she saw a familiar face from the corner of her eye and grinned as she met eyes with Nelson. "So, what's it going to take for this cowgirl to get a dance in with you tonight?" She asked with a purr as she approached him, wrapping her arms around him as she did so for a quick hug. "You look sexy as always. Did you just get here?"

This man in front of her not only came off as wealthy from his clothes to his watch, he also came off as charming and those who knew Emira knew that she wasn't going to turn charming down. Running her tongue along her lower lip, she checked him out again as he was ordering her drink for her. "You've been?" She asked, raising her brow in interest as the corner of her lips turned upwards into a small smile. "Work did. I'm a personal assistant to a high-end, well known investment banker named Axel Mathis," she explained, keeping her answer short and sweet. "What about you? Are you from here or somewhere else?"
