You know, the more time goes on, the more tumblr ends up feeling the safest place to be on as an artist. Like less eyes on you at all time, and the eyes you do get end up feeling much more kind. It seems like there's less bots here with the only purpose to raigebait you into engagements. It just all feel so low stakes here, it feels nice to put out a drawing for the the void and the void enjoys and things stays pleasant. I kinda wish the rest of the internet still felt like this. (I know tumblr definitely has its issues, god knows its has *a lot* of it, this is not excusing it, but more appreciating the peace you at least get here)
Here's my ''I wanna draw'' bingo of 2026 with the template if you want to make yourself one too! The goals in white (corners plus inner circle) are meant to be general goals and themes of things I want to draw, while goals written in yellow (the sides) are more concrete exercises or practices that will help me achieve these goals! I think it's important to have a good mix of goals that give you leeway for creativity, but also goals that are more about the work you need to do ^-^
Sometimes when I'm in new fandoms, with the way the longevity of those fandoms can be only a few weeks, even with being extremely popular, I start missing the old fandoms I was into when I was a bit younger. The star trek movies played on tv during the holiday and It got me thinking: ''Would that fandom still be alive? What would stop me from making fanarts for it?'' :') So sometimes, when I see those old fandoms get new fanarts made by people, I'm like ''well, if the ship is still sailing, it's not too late to board it''
This is going to be my template for artfight! It's my first time participating in it, and as you can tell, my team is stardust! I had to scavenger through my things to find ocs, which made me realize I don't made enough of them >:3 Just need to put ref sheet in my art fight and then we should be all ready do the event!
As a genderfluid, bisexual and demisexual artist, I hope I get to make lot of pride art in the future, for my whole entire life. Years and years of pride for all the years I had to feel shame, so that one day, someone can grow up surrounded in that, in all that pride, that acknowledgment, that feeling of belonging.

Art is seeing a piece from a hundred years ago and thinking, I'm so sorry I can't hold you in my arms. I feel you. I understand. And then wonder if there's someone a hundred years from now, looking at my art thinking that they wish they could tell me, how much they understand too
