It was brought to my attention by a friend that someone has used one of my couple artworks (Mephistea, to be precise) as traced base for their own couple.
I already solved it peacefully in private,(as it is my costume, I do not like to engage in petty and senseless drama, unless provoked into it), but I will take this occasion to just clarify one thing:
NONE OF MY ARTWORK CAN BE USED AS BASE.
From now on I will put a small watermark on all artworks, so that it is clearer that I do not appreciate nor condone this type of behaviour.
I do not appreciate it one bit, and frankly, unless it's for practicing (and even that it's a stretch), I find the practice of tracing another artist's artwork or use it as base as a rather indolent behaviour that, trust me, IT WILL NOT help you become a better artist in the long run, because all are you doing is drawing mindlessly, without actually working on learning what needs to be learned.
If you need reference, you have the entirity of the internet at your disposal with photos of all kind to learn how to work around the human figure. And if not, there is always taking pictures of one self to try and figure out.
So please, DO NOT TRACE MY WORK AND DO NOT USE IT AS A BASE.
