Star Wars Drawing Challenge Day 11: A nemoidian scoundrel
Nemoidian pylat birds were a type of small avian native to Nemoidia. Pylat birds were sought after as pets, due to their beautiful plumage and song. Because of this, owning a pylat bird was a status symbol in Nemoidian culture. A rare pylat bird from the moon Sojourn played an important role in establishing the relationship between Darth Sidious and Nute Gunray.

Theory: Duros are Warm-Blooded Lizards?
Hear me out. know it's commonly accepted fan-cannon for Cad Bane to be coldblooded because Duros are reptilian, but I personally dislike this theory. Duros are one of the most ancient space faring species in the galaxy, and have even branched out into sub-species like the Nemoidians and other Near-Duros. Space is COLD. So... wouldn't it make sense for them to evolve into warm blooded reptiles? The Wookiepedia and other info-dump pages never mention warm vs cold for them, and while watching any SW content it's never brought up or seems to bother either Duros or Nemoidians. Duros are warm blooded, space dino lizards. Granted, they might have a slightly cooler body temp than humans, but not too much. That way a lot of the adorable aspects of liking warm things can still apply.
nute gunray!! finally getting back to drawing these
Cato Nemoidia was a temperate, mountainous planet in the Colonies region that was one of many Nemoidian ‘purse worlds’. Its cities hung between natural rock formations like large bridges. It was the site of a handful of battles during the Clone Wars.

Tey How was the Nemoidian communications officer who served with the Trade Federation during is blockade of Naboo. Her goggles and mask allowed her to link with much of a ship’s systems, including the ventilation shafts.

DAY 74: EG-9
Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Don't bother trying to look for EG-9 in the movie. He's not in there. He was in a little scene that was scripted but not finished. Dunno if it was even filmed.
For that matter, I'm not sure if EG here is an actual physical prop or a CG construct. I'm leaning towards prop because a lot of the CG renders in the Visual Dictionaries ended up in very super-simple static poses. Not so here. Then again, how would that balance? That seems like it'd take a lot more balance work that would be worth it.
Any rate, thew scene was going to be very early in the movie, on the Trade Federation base, where he and a PK series droid were going to have a brief conversation about their contempt for protocol droids.
Oh, right, figure. Hm. It's a pretty nice design, really, and I wouldn't mind owning one. On the other hand, this would have been the year to get it, and obviously we're not. The whole Phantom Menace anniversary/re-release thing sure fizzled.
Unless it shows up in Clone Wars, repeatedly... yeah.
