My everyday Bible study goodies
Hi everyone!! I’m so excited to start this blog, since I started sharing my bible study journey on Instagram. I received many messages about what kind of bibles, pens + reading plans that I use. Although, I do not mind receiving the messages; sometimes I do not notice them till the end of the day or I’ll miss them completely. This post will have all the information of the tools I use on a daily basis and it will be available at all times!
I love using these tools; pastel pens are my weakness! :) nevertheless they are not necessary to begin/continue reading and seeking the word of God. I believe keeping your study tools simple will help you stay consistent in reading and studying your bible. Enjoy!

First off: I’m currently using two bibles. One is, The Jesus Bible ,I started using this bible in December 2017; it was referred by a good friend on IG @/topknotsandjesus. It is one of my favorite bibles, I highly recommend it! Every book leads back to Jesus, it has everything you need in one bible. It has short refrences, devotionals, essays, side bar articles and even a space in every page to journal! Yay!! If I had to choose just one bible to use everyday The Jesus Bible would be the one!
(You could find the Coffee Cup Bible cover in my shop.) The custom bible tabs shown here, are tabs that I made with card stock, alpha stickers, shipping tape, and a tab puncher. DIY post coming soon! :)
My 2nd bible is the One Year Bible Reflections, which I started Jan 1st, 2018. I wanted to challenge myself to read the bible in one year not for bragging rights but to see and feel the transformation in myself through Christ Jesus in that one year.
Unlike other One Year Bibles, this particular one has journaling margins. Which allows me to write down notes, refrences and prayers. Highly recommend this bible if your looking to read the bible in one year or need a daily reading plan.
The Custom Bible cover with pom pom trim can be found in my shop along with other covers.
Now the accessories!! :) I use a variety of pens, highlighters and sticky notes. Most of my writing pens and sticky notes I purchase from Target’s Dollar Spot, you could usually find 3 sets of pens for $1.
For highlighters I use Zebra Mildliner Pastel Set, they are my favorite! Pastels are my JAM! :) They are double ended with a highlighter and underline tip. They don’t bleed through my bible pages too much or in some cases not at all! At times; I like to use these colored writing pens, Zebra Sarasa, and like the other pens they do not bleed.
I carry a Perfectly Imperfect Organizer that holds my pens, highlighters, sticky notes and some clips. It has a small zippered pouch in the middle that is great for small goodies. It zips all the way around and has 4 interior pockets. You could find out more about this organizer in my shop.
Those are all my daily bible study tools! At times I like to add a few random stickers from Illustrated Faith Print & Pray Shop. You could easily print from home onto sticker paper. They have great sales and their products are super cute! Check them out for some great bible journaling inspiration. *Not sponsored or associated with Illustrated Faith.
