It took almost a month, but my son is finally home! I have another one that’s still in the shipping package, because of a funny story.
So my boyfriend at the time (David) preordered him for me, and later that day, when my brother (Patrick) got home from work, we told him and he got mad saying “that’s literally what I’m getting her for Christmas...”. So Patrick was upset that the surprise was ruined and David tried cancelling it but TOM doesn’t authorize preorder cancellations for some reason, and neither did the site Patrick used. About a week or 2 ago, a package came to the door for my brother and he was like “Oh, there’s your Sogo, but you’re not opening the package until Christmas. You can open David’s when it gets here.”
And the one from David FINALLY showed up either today or yesterday (I hadn’t checked the mail yesterday)! But out of respect for my brother, who was gyped out of surprising me with an awesome gift, I’m not taking EITHER figure out of the box to assemble until Christmas, and whichever one I don’t open, I’ll leave in the box to keep dust-free forever!!
