8: Name something or someone who influences your writing, art or characterization
((Probably watching the five guys in my entire graduating class. Because they've basically just gotten used to having tons of girls around and interact normally. I don't have any brothers or anything so it is a truly eye opening insight into the fragile world of masculinity))

Balancing Act
『怪獣』━ Being stopped as others rushed by. Children bumped his knees as they clamored to the front of the line. The loud roar of laughter and conversation echoed in his ears as Sasuke looked up to the surrounding posters. Each was hung around the edge of the tent. One by one they depicted a performer, but not one showed what he was looking to find. Was it even worth the time to sit through such an event? In reality, he had no other option. All others had been exhausted.
Mustering up resolve and swallowing with a burning pain, Sasuke moved once more and squeezed himself through the crowd and in line. It didn't take long to reach the vendor. His ticket was taken, but smoldering eyes stayed pinned to him longer than he would have liked. Glaring, Sasuke passed him without much more thought and went to find his seat.
Luckily enough there was a place to sit in the higher section of the stands. The position gave him a perfect view of the whole ring without being too far away. Silently he sat, stomach churning and nerves alight with anxiousness. When the lights turned down and the crowed cheered, his eyes became glued to the ring master. It was the same man who had taken the tickets, and now he was introducing the first act.
Chihiro-chan
"I-Is it true that shinobi can't have diseases?" Gaze down at the ground, and head barely reaching over the top of the desk, Iruka was surprised Chihiro had even spoken at all. She was very quiet, having been a diligent worker in his class for six whole weeks, but only having said a few words in that entire time. She wasn't overly shy, because she answered questions easily when asked, but simply chose her words carefully, as if there was a limit on how many she could say.
"Iruka-sensei!" She wailed, bursting into sudden tears. "I don't wanna give up being a ninja!"
Iruka reached a hand out to her shoulder, "why would you have to?"
"B-because I have egg-sa-ma!" A dribble of snot down her face had the teacher reaching out to hand a her a tissue from his vest pocket, and also holding back snorts of laughter.
"You mean you get rashes?" He managed, somewhere in between the low voiced chanting of "hey, its alright", progressively getting softer in hopes it would get her to quiet down some.
With a sniffle, and pathetic attempt at nose blowing, she nodded, chest hitching with barely contained sobs. "I gotta put lotion on e-everyday!"
"Needing to put on lotion everyday isn't something you have to give up being a shinobi for. You can just bring it with you, and apply it if you can."
"B-but I have a disease!" Now, she was more confused than afflicted with ultimate tragedy, though the tear streaks were still visible.
"Well," he leaned forward, looking her in the eye, "perhaps I should have been clearer. I meant, shinobi can't have any diseases that affect their performance, but itchy rashes can easily be worked around."
"But I thought we weren't 'upposed to bring anything non-essential," she sniffed again, and he chose his words carefully to try and keep her from crying.
"Well, you need it because otherwise you might not be able to work at your best. Besides, who says lotion is non-essential? It's good for poison ivy, sunburns, and you're going to be on a team with two boys. I am sure they will get stuck in something at some point."
