Fate is working fast to bring you down
I woke up today and decided to piss the fandom off before I go to bed apparently. Everyone has that one favorite scenario they like to play out with different characters. For me it's The Dreaming City climax lol. Did it with Devilman boys already, and the berserk boys were next
But tbh I wouldn't be surprised if the manga does end up like this (I read too much Moorcock to be surprised by that)
Edit: under cut is an alternate version now (that I feel fits more)
damn he’s onto nothing 😂💯🪶‼️‼️‼️
A fun thing to note: Void and Neo-Griffith are basically opposites of each other.
Void is a being that seems to reflect a form of nihilism, the most destructive, cynic and despairing form of it there could be. Void keeps speaking of a world determined by an unbreakable and crushing fate, of a world going in circles, a place where nothing change, where there is no free will, he seems to reflect a vision of a world ultimately empty and automatic, where nothing really matters. So to speak, again, “the void”, the emptiness, an absence of hope or of true creation.
Yet, Femto as neo-Griffith represents and plays on hope. It is his whole gig: bring people hope, and faith in the future. Using that to gain power, an army, a kingdom. And in fact, his wish is to create a new world, a new kingdom, a new city. He is a force of hope and building.
Both serve the Idea of Evil and the plans of Doom, but they are so different and even opposite to each other...
“I miss being surrounded by loose acquaintances who think I’m funny and smart and charming.”
-Griffith/Femto on why he started the Neo Band of the Hawk
Neo Griffith: I am emotionless. I have no emotions. I got rid of all emo-
His heart: I have all these BTHUMPs that say otherwise.
This was supposed to be a doodle in class but it uhm... escalated
