[HORSE HEAD] Neo-Cerberus Outpost Scuttled
Thommana Asvavan Kunja, Alliance News Network The Systems Alliance Seventh Fleet has announced that the recently discovered derelict space station in Horse Head Nebula was an outpost for a Neo-Cerberus organization, and that it has been scuttled. Admiral Ramatulai Mbaye, commander of the Seventh Fleet, stated in a press conference that the station’s scuttling “represents a bookend to combating this particular successor organization and the threat it represented to current galactic order.” While fellow Citadel governments have met the announcement with approval, there has also been criticism over the station’s fate. The Greater Council Space Society for Archaeological Protection has condemned the scuttling as “ham-handed guilt by association”, based on footage taken by prospectors before the station was seized by the Systems Alliance. The society claims that the derelict was of a design that did not match any known Council state’s engineering.
