Casa Canals, the house of the aristocratic Canals family. Located in the city of Tarragona (Catalonia), it was built in the 18th century, though most of the furniture we see today is from the family's wealthiest moment in the mid-19th century. The Canals family lived in this house until the late 20th century. Since 2006, it was acquired by the City Council and it's now open to visitors.
The house, partially built on the Roman city walls, has a lower floor for the servants and a first floor for the noble family, with a ball dancing room, bedrooms, a living room, a studio, and a private chapel, among others.
