♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.

Will has some deep-seated anger issues, many of which revolve around his father, and he hates that his first reaction to adversity is to get angry about it, and sometimes explosively angry. He has worked on it a lot since he was younger and has it, for the most part, under control now, but he has episodes every now and then.

☆ : Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?

He’s not the wishing type; Will learned long ago that wishing tends to be futile, and that laying the right plans will get you somewhere faster than hoping and wishing for something to come true.

☢ : Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown.

Failing out of college; falling to any sort of addiction; his dad coming back from New York and finding him - all of these would equally devastate him.

❤ : Describe a physical action that shows complete trust.

He likes to ruffle people’s hair when he is on close terms with them. Any kind of touching of the head or face!

❥ : Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust.

Talking in simpler terms. He tends to be very eloquent and shows off a touch because he is a smart guy (and you’d better not forget it), but when he lets his guard down, he speaks less stiffly and uses “I” a lot less, rather preferring to address things concerning the other person (using “you” a lot); genuinely trying to get to know the other party.

⊗ : What is something that causes them to question themself?

His anger, especially concerning his own memories of his childhood, which have become so convoluted with his regrets and dark feelings. Especially when he is trying terribly hard to be more optimistic and realize things have much improved since he was that age.

❣ : Describe a way that will earn affection (whether platonic or romantic) from them.

Knowing what you want out of life. He cannot stand codependency or neediness as he’s rather insecure with his own feelings (they also remind him of his mother, who was so destructively co-dependent), so he admires when someone knows what they want and goes for it. Considering his own life had so many twists and turns but he still sticks to his plans, he tends towards folks who can stand on their own rather than heavily rely on others (outside of very understandable circumstances of course). Being well-read of course, because he IS a bit of a book snob and prides himself on being able to read classic lit without much difficulty. 

♡ : Is there a certain scent that brings about nostalgia? If so, describe a memory this scent brings back.

Aside from the smell of books reminding him of his dad and the failing bookstore of his childhood, laundry detergents and grass remind him of living with his maternal grandparents in the Midwest when he was a teenager.

On the fence here; while he is definitely more an optimist than a pessimist, he does not believe that every person is a good person, some people are better avoided.

☁ : Describe how they would spend a stormy, overcast/rainy day.

Catching up on paperwork since his family does run the shipping company, so there’s always something to be done there. Otherwise probably surfing the internet (killing time on Facebook or Reddit or something) or popping in a movie/Netflix.

εжз : What about nature do they find calming? What about nature do they find disagreeable?

He loves going to the woods. Reminds him of hunting trips with his dad, so he’s very fond of camping and huge groves of trees and such. The beach is easily his second favorite place! Mosquitos and bogs can stay far away from him though, if he can help it. Also leeches; he watched Stand By Me religiously as a kid and the leech scene gave him the willies.

Claire first, followed by his dad, then Ivy. His mom after Ivy, then Cadi.

☾ : On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?

Surfing the internet like the meme loving garbage that he is; probably scrolling on his phone to kill time until he gets tired, picking through Wikipedia or news sites.

✓ : Name at least two people who can trust them with their life.

Claire and Ivy (and eventually, Lorin, of course).

✉ : Do they tend to rely on words or actions more?

He tries to be balanced on both fronts and follow through on what he’s going to say he will do; he was notorious for being a big talker in high school and he’s finally starting to back up his own words.

Twilight - ♥, ☆, ☂, ☛, ❥, ⊗

♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.

Her exuberance gets really overbearing the more nervous she is. She desperately wants friends and has a hard time containing her excitement about things she is interested in so she comes across as pushy and invasive - and she is not unaware of it. She keeps at it, sometimes manically, hoping that the other party will share her enthusiasm and want to be her friend. She is also prone to catastrophic thinking; should a person be unresponsive or not as excited about something as she is, she automatically thinks something she has done is the problem and frets endlessly on the inside.

☆ : Would they ever wish upon a falling star? If so, what would they wish?

The convention itself did not gain momentum as a thing people do until her planet intercepted television signals from Earth (backdated, of course), but it is definitely something she has done many times before! She often places her faith on some distant star and usually wishes for long-term goals - to be her own person, for something to go well, for friends, to have a good time.

☂ : Storms or clear skies?

Clear skies all the way! She loves sunny days and crystal clear nights!

☛ : What is their typical response to being given orders?

Blatant disregard, lmao. She does not much like being bossed around unless it is a position she has put herself in (i.e. a job, group study, helping out a friend), and it all depends on the person’s tone. Should they be especially snappish with her, she’ll pout and drag her feet, perpetually the spoiled child.

❥ : Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust.

Talking very specifically about her feelings; using a more subdued voice. She is known for her over exuberance and uses that to cover her insecurities, she’s also known for making blanket statements (i.e. “I love ___!”), but for her to actually specify what’s she’s feeling and lower her voice to a respectable volume is a huge show of trust.

⊗ : What is something that causes them to question themself?

I’ve been saying it a lot but her over-exuberance, LMAO. She just doesn’t know how to go about interacting in any other way except pushing on the bravado and laughter and smiles and all the charm she can muster.
