I made myself a Neo wig today and figured I should show my process, because I found so few tutorials for putting this together without cutting apart separate wigs. Here we go: •So start off with a pink wig pinned to your styling head. •Next, proceed to move and clip away sections of pink hair so you can reach the specific weft level you think is right. •Take your dark brown weft extension, pop open the clips, and start securing it to the pink weft line. •If your brown weft extension is large like mine, you'll want to trim it, or align it gradually to a lower pink weft. If not, just skip this step. •Once you're certain the extension was secure and/or to your liking, start unclipping the previously moved pink hair, and cover up the brown extension line. •When you're satisfied, comb through the hair a bit, making sure the color differences aren't super awkward. And voila! You've just made a quick and easy Neo wig for your cosplay! Remember to trim where you feel it's needed, and if you're paranoid like me about the brown extensions falling or slipping, it's okay. Just take a needle with dark thread and sew your brown weft to your pink wig for added security. I hope this was helpful for those of you looking for a Neo tutorial!
