Supernatural // Senses Fail - "The Rapture"
anyway jack kline is just a tiny little boy!!!!! a little boy!!!!!!!!!! a toddler doing his best!!!!!!!!! i love him!!!!!!!!! truly one of the only good parts of late-stage spn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Summary: Written for this prompt in the spnkink_meme on LJ: "Jack gets his first ever splinter in his foot of all places. Sam helps him, and works at distracting Jack and then comforting him after (maybe with ice cream and a movie because it was a very big splinter)."
Snippet:
“Jack, don’t…” Sam calls out, trying to alert the boy to the potential danger but he knows it's too late from the look of horror that spreads over the kid's face as if in slow motion. Jack lets out a cry which sounds like a mixture of shock of pain. “Sam, what's happening?” the young Nephilim asks with alarm in his voice, his blue eyes wide and filled with worry. The book he was holding makes a loud slam as it hits the floor as Jack takes a couple of steps back, balancing on one foot and lifting his injured one, wobbling on the spot as he tries to look at the source of his pain.
Castiel: what would you do if there was a child in front of you?
Dean: *points a gun at Jack*
Castiel: DEAN NO-
So, I really, really liked tonight's episode. Except the very end. I'm pretty upset about Felix the Snake.
Like, they're all pretty smart guys, but you're telling me that not a single one of them thought to Google "How to Take Care of a Snake"? Seriously?
Like, he was being kept in a sad plastic box in a dark room. Of course he didn't want to eat. A few days in a temperature and humidity-controlled terrarium with full spectrum lighting would probably have sorted him out. :/

It's only just occured to me how similar the major plot of SPN13 and A:IW is...
AU!Michael is Thanos (kinda, not really)
Lucifer is Bruce Banner having witnessed the big bad doing his thing, comes back to warn others of the coming threat that's bigger than they can imagine. Also, he's powered down.
Jack could be Steve, running from home to pursue what he thinks is right?
Wayward Sisters is Natasha, Okoye, and Wanda. Badass girls fighting evil together as a team.
I'm sure there's a hell of a lot more. It's just making me giggle.
Thoughts?
