I dreamed Daniel Brühl and I worked in a university library together. He wore a dark blue sweater that was very, very soft. I know it was very soft because I touched it once, accidentally, when we came around a corner and bumped into each other.

I don’t ask for much when it comes to DCtv fandom, but if there is an exec or three out there reading this ...

... here’s what I’d love to see in the world of my favorite DCtv shows:

1. John Constantine gets his own TV show again.

2. John Constantine, then, does a crossover episode to visit Lucifer on Netflix.

3. Then, Lucifer Morningstar does a crossover episode to visit Preacher on AMC.

4. Then, Jesse Custer visits Constantine on his show on the CW in another crossover episode.

5. In the end, all 3 shows are sharing the same storyline, and each lead character parts ways as frenemies.

I also want the storyline to be unapologetically Vertigo and unapologetically dark. No morality lessons. No messaging about how everyone can be a hero. No song and dance about each being a good man in their own way. 

Each should get to smoke and swear as much as they please, but always in character. And ... just let them be awesome in their own right. Because there’s no way you can do a multi-crossover with those 3 shows and not have it exceed all expectations.

So last night I had a dream of some sort of bnha Buffy the Vampire Slayer au in which Bakugo was the slayer and Kirishima was some kind of peppy odd demon who decided to hang around him. I’m trying to decide if I need to be the one to write this.

I dreamed the ending of How I Met Your Mother was Ted got stepped on and killed by the Iron Giant.

Nerd Dream und das Berliner Computerspielemuseum präsentierten gemeinsam ein nostalgisches Quartettspiel für Fans alter Rechner.

Roman Keßler alias Nerd Dream(s) produzierte in der Vergangenheit schon lustige Kalender und das Retro-Rechner Quartett. Dieses ist zugleich die Vorlage für das Computer Classics Card Game, das aktuell bei Kickstarter finanziert wird. Sobald 5555 Euro zusammen sind, wird dieses realisiert.

Rechner als Quartettspiel

Über 5000 Exemplare des originalen Quartetts wurden bisher verkauft, nun soll eine verbesserte Auflage folgen. Hierfür holte sich Roman Unterstützung vom Berliner Computerspielemuseum, das 2017 20-jähriges Jubiläum feiert. Es ist von einer überarbeiteten und besseren Fassung die Rede, ebenso ist eine Erweiterung mit Apple-Computern vorgesehen. Ansonsten bekommt ihr 32 Spielkarten mit allerlei Kultmaschinen früherer Tage, die ihr in den Bereichen „Launch“, „Gewicht“, „Preis“, „CPU“ und „RAM“ gegeneinander und nach typischen Quartett-Regeln antreten lasst.

Persönlich sehe ich zwar nicht, was sich gegenüber dem ersten Quartett geändert hat, doch dieses ist ohnehin ausverkauft. Verbesserungen liegen also im Detail, die Kickstarter-Kampagne richtet sich ebenso an ein internationales Publikum. Schön außerdem: Sollten mehr als 5555 Euro eingenommen werden, spendet der Schöpfer das übrige Geld an kreative Maker-Projekte – finde ich gut!

Ihr habt damals kein Quartett gekauft? Dann schießt euer Geld bei Kickstarter vor und sichert euch die Jubiläums-Edition. Ab 11 Euro geht es los, regulär soll es 15 Euro kosten. Im November 2017 soll mit der Auslieferung begonnen werden. Ich drück die Daumen, dass das Ziel erreicht wird.

Okay so... 

last night right after watching the fifth episode of Dirk Gently I dreamed that I was part of the team,(“Team Gently?”) and Dirk had wandered off or gone missing, so Todd and I were traveling around the U.S. looking for him. 

Sergeant Friedkin came after us, but we captured him and held him hostage, and he developed an obvious crush on me. I’m all, “Okay, flattering, don’t know what to make of this.” Partly ‘cause I’m half in love with Todd (both in the dream and real life). So yeah, Road trip buddy comedy with a dash of Rom-Com.

I was bummed to wake up from it.
