I absolutely loathed the jackasses who were like "Disney should reboot the prequels and fix it all!!!!!!!!!11111!!" back before TFA (which is to date the sole Star Wars content that made me UPSET in the BAD way on some level to watch) came out. Sooooo I know I now need to make peace with not being like "guys can we just pretend none of that ever happened?" because I don't want to become the very thing I fought to destroy.
(But also this had almost zero involvement from anyone who really gave a shit or wasn't totally restricted by What Will Make Us The Most Money This Summer, so. It's harder to make peace with it. You can hate the PT but at least I know the person who INVENTED FUCKING STAR WARS actually likes it.)
