Hi, i've never watched star Trek (i know, shame on me), but i want to watch the new one to support the cause. Do i need to marathon all star Trek material or can i jump right into it?

no you really don’t need to, plus that would take a UNBELIEVABLY long time to marathon them all!!  his show actually happens before most of the other shows chronologically and they are trying to be fairly new trekkie friendly, a general knowledge is helpful but not necessary at this point. if you get confused don’t be afraid to use the wiki or ask a trekkie we are pretty friendly 

I’m really enjoying the show so far and i really hope it leads to a lot of new trekkies!!!! if you have any questions i’m happy to help

Es un grupo facebook. El grupo es cerrado pero Dasanira acepta a todos (puede tomar un tiempo dependiendo de cuándo se meta a face), lo que significa que también hay curiosos dando vuelta por ahí, y de vez en cuando escriben weás.

Puse el link hace tiempo en el linkspam de asexualidad en Chile, que de hecho fue el primer post de este blog y que aparece aquí en la barra derecha junto a una introducción a la asexualidad, la red de asexuales hispanohablantes y un ace fic rec que tengo un poco botado.

OMG I KNOOW! As far as I know, Netflix hasn’t made any annoucement of a series renewal yet, despite all the fuss the series got. :C

yes I’m so scared about this!!! if it doesn’t get renewed it will be the biggest injustice ever, I’ve never seen a tv show that good!

Unpopular fandom opinion

What if John really is Moriarty, like Sherlock thought for a moment that night at the pool? After all, he did appear on the scene at precisely the same time as Moriarty, and Moriarty showed up again just as Sherlock was being exiled, something John didn’t want to see happen. Moriarty is obsessed with Sherlock, so is John. Moran is Moriarty’s lieutenant, Mary is John’s wife. We think she’s pulling the wool over his eyes, but what if he’s in on the plan instead? What if Mycroft didn’t let Sherlock tell John he was alive because he was beginning to suspect? And then didn’t come to the wedding...? There are a lot of John/Moriarty coincidences...and you know what we say about coincidences.

I stopped watching it but my mom still does, and she says they show George R. R. Martin as a producer of the show, so I wonder how they screw it up so bad. D:

GRRM writes one episode per season, I don’t know if he knows what’s being written in the others. I suppose he has to know in order to write his own, but... I don’t even know if I want to continue reading the books, what’s sure is that I'm not watching this show anymore.
