Picked up some Trek merch this weekend. A local toy store has the new Nacelle line. The guy mentioned to me that they weren’t selling well. Except for the Archer figure.

That didn’t really shock me since the characters they picked for wave 1 are pretty minor. So I grabbed Captain Sulu and told the owner how glad I was that he got them in since I’m such a big fan. So I’m hoping he’ll get wave 2 when it comes out. That has a few characters that I’d like to have.

Then I picked up this year’s Celebrations comic. I got the two cover variants they had. Sadly, they didn’t have the Mariner/Jennifer variant.

And what the heck, I got the two issues of Lost Contact that are out.

I should reread mtmte/ll and do a snw crossover fic. A massive fifteen mile ship finding something as tiny as the Enterprise and vice versa and Chris’ crew wigging the fuck out under a mask of professionalism.

star trek snw has its fun moments and I enjoy watching it but I will also just completely ignore things that I deem incorrect. spock dating anyone? nope. I never even heard of that
