It's really hard to get Raven's romantic affection, purely for the fact that she doesn't feel she's worthy nor capable of feeling that way. For one thing, she's half a demon and so she can't feel love, in her mind (no matter how many times she's told otherwise and, anyways, she wouldn't want to fall in love after what happened with Malchior), and besides which, she feels that feelings would distract and be detrimental to her containing her powers. That being said, one of the simplest ways to earn her affection of any kind is to show her compassion and loyalty, even if she feels she doesn't deserve it. As she didn't have many, if any, friends growing up, the simplest kind gestures will endear you to her, and once you own her loyalty, you've pretty much got it for life. Unless you're Terra.

that is the hard fucking truth of it. i spoke to some uk buddies last year, and we both pretty much learned that peoples attitudes toward citizens on government assistance are like night and day in america vs. the uk.

i think it went like... in the uk, people on government assistance were not treated badly. there's an emergency fund (not a lot but it FUCKING EXISTS?~!!!!) to help for a few weeks while you look for work. there are job aids and citizens advice??? they help with budgeting, creditors, etc.???????????????? acting like, "oh you took a bad fall, right then let's get sorted, yeah?"

here its like. i know a family with two kids. one parent is college educated, but kansas is in the shitter for employment rn. when shit went into the red and they got on welfare, everyone who know turned on them like FUCKING ANIMALS. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!?!! family starting shit behind their backs, friends leaving them. ive taken a different friend in for food stamps and everyone treated her like she was an idiot???? people on assistance in america get treated like theyre dogs who won't follow commands or some shit, its fucked up

and that was before the enormous govt assistance cuts u_u
