Hey @buffy-vanserra, 22 What would be their most scandalous court rumor? *leans over to whisper in your ear* Have you heard what Nesta and Eris are doing in their private chambers? Nesta puts a dog collar on him and puts him on a leash. When he behaves he can get a taste of her. And he likes it! 1. What made you first ship Neris? The whole seduction plot in ACOSF was absolutely bonkers, but the dance itself? Hot! "I’ll show you how a future High Lord plays.” Eris being full of himself, but also a bit hot. I thought it was really cute when he explained the mountain tunnels to her, and she was so intrigued. And also, when he said his offer (of marriage) was sincere. Eris is always in strategy mode and his real feelings and motives hidden under hundreds of layers, but I think with her, he has always been honest. As much as he's capable of at least. Eris in general is very shippable to me, because I like emotionally repressed characters. And two characters that don't mind physical intimacy, but struggle with emotional intimacy. Catnip to me! 7. What Court would Neris enjoy visiting most?

I actually think they’d love Winter! They would definitely both be lethal ice skaters, and I think they’d love how peaceful and quiet the snow makes everything. And they’d love long evenings reading inside and watching the weather through the window, hot toddies with rum, gingerbread, the works.

I do also like the idea of them going to Summer, Eris turning into a boiled lobster, and Nesta mercilessly making fun of him about it. Bonus points if Elain and Lucien are also there bronzed and sun-kissed and eating mangoes on the beach while Nesta and Eris are melting into puddles.

14. What prompt are you most excited about for Neris Week?

Because of my current writing schedule, I’m not sure I’ll have something for every day, but I do have an idea for parentified eldest sibling soccer rivals neris (I have been listening to a lot of Noah Kahan lately, lol)

23. What is the pettiest thing they would do to someone who insulted the other? If it was someone from his court, Eris would "promote" them to one of the most unpleasant places in the Autumn Court, but only after some weeks, so he doesn't seem petty to his people. The outpost at the winter border with the strong icy winds. The stretch of land near Spring Court where some naga were seen lately. If Nesta lives with Eris at the Forest House and you said something bad about him, you can be sure you will not receive an invitation to the next book club meeting or court dance.

11- hmmm I don’t have a lot of hard hc’s tbh 🫣 (I’m willing to be swayed with any argument within reason)

An eris specific rather than neris is that he strictly has long hair, shortest to the collar bone and that’s pushing it

And one for our babygirl nesta is she is the shortest of the archerons (even after the caldron changed her)

15- I think it’s definitely over little stuff, like who had the last Good pen (was nesta), where the dogs preferred rope was placed (eris has a mental map but can’t for the life of him word it correctly), but they’re a united front on the big stuff

16- probablyyyy a like picnic in the forest with with nesta reading as eris is like fishing or some shit (close by but not necessarily doing the same thing)

15 What is the funniest thing they would argue about?

Eris excels at everything. So, it's no wonder he's proficient in musical activities as well. We know he's a magnificent dancer, but he's also great at playing the piano, very precise but also playful. But there is one thing he is not good at. Eris sings pretty off-key. Of course none of his tutors dared to tell him and later, his house was not one for merry singing. When Nesta encounters him in the bathroom and hears his singing for the first time, she laughs in shock. Of course, Eris is hurt and lashes out. Surely, Nesta would know nothing about fae music, especially from Autumn. They have a bad fight and spend the night in their own rooms. In the morning after a sleepless night, Eris asks his mother for an honest opinion on his singing abilities and she confirms Nesta's assessment. Eris apologises and brings breakfast to Nesta's bed. It will take some time for Nesta to convince him how endearing she finds his little flaw, but when he finally believes her, he returns to sing the worst arias with the lewdest lyrics, and it's Nesta's favourite thing.
