Recently, @altamaranempire, @terribly--artistic, and I have been archiving a bunch of the Strangers project by Felix Kramer just in case anything ever happens to the site. As kind of a “present” to ourselves for the hard work, we did a little art/character trade sort of thing and made strangers for each other!
TOP: A quick drawing I did this evening of a new Strangers character I got from a trade with @altamaranempire! It’s a fan variant of Nerodroni she made. I’ve decided to call it Roundhay after the oldest currently preserved motion picture. They’re sharing an... interesting memory that’s at risk of being forgotten forever with some curious little friends. Normally, Roundhay’s particular variety likes to track down sensitives whom they think the memory is most likely to be... well, remembered by, and try to show it to them so the information isn’t lost. When no sensitives are around, they’ll give up and find another Stranger instead, whether they’re interested (or even capable of being interested) or not. BOTTOM: My half of the trade - A fan variant of Vessobrine! I figure unlike a typical vessobrine, it can generate in areas of very low light instead of total darkness, and has a strong instinct to wander from dark corner to dark corner to look for Mysterious Goodies. It’s also got an extra pair of arms for grabbing curiosities!! Its markings are green, and befittingly, when touched it makes the area appear illuminated in an artificial green glow instead of bathed in sunlight. Think the light cast by a cheap, possibly radioactive toy.
