Thinking about symbolism between Tim and Dick.
Dick watched his parents fall once (unwillingly leaving him)
Tim watch as his parents left, over and over, unwilling to stay.
Thinking about how that come with the way they fly:
Dick jump, willing to let go (always reminded to pull himself back up).
Tim control where and how his grapple will catch.
I'm thinking about the narrative, how their traumas are opposites, but complete -
And mostly, thinking about the part, when Ra's throw Tim out of the window, as a pick point.
Tim's control is broken, he's forced to let go.
Dick watch as a loved one fall to his death (again)
(and mostly - I think about how Dick catch him, like he couldn't before.
How Tim was caught, when he's so focused on his control, so unwilling to trust. But he get it anyway)
