If you're still taking prompts: W for Cullen/Inquisitor?
Sexy touch in a not-so-sexy place – Cullen/Myra
“Inquisitor, you should reconsider this course of action.”
She sighs, placing her hands on the table and looking across at him. “What would you have me do, Cullen? These people need our help – I cannot turn a blind eye!”
“I’m not suggesting that you do. But there are easier ways, safer ways to help them -”
“Ways that would destroy their way of life, eradicate their homes and leave few standing! We cannot lose more people -”
“Need I remind you that your ideal situation involves you remaining alive?” he cuts in tersely, watching as she pulls back and strides across the room. “You put too much on your own shoulders – you already have the heaviest burden.”
“I know that.” She takes a deep breath, closing her eyes. “I know. Maker preserve me, there is nothing in this world I understand more. But if I can – if these people might live because I stepped in…”
His hand is gentle on her shoulder, fingers curling into the fabric of her doublet. “Myra -”
“I cannot save them all, I know. But I must try.”
“Let us help. Let us all help. Together, we are stronger.”
She nods, smiling slightly as he presses the softest kiss to her temple. “Cullen -”
“I will not let your stubbornness get you killed,” he murmurs, and she turns her head to face him, looking up into passionate eyes. For a moment, she thinks he might take on Corypheus himself. The thought is almost too much to bear, and she reaches up with one hand to cup his cheek.
Behind them, a throat clears.
“Ah… Inquisitor, perhaps we should table this discussion for now?”
Commander and Inquisitor turn, as one, to face the other advisors – Leliana looking idly through paperwork and Josephine with too-bright eyes and a blush staining her cheeks as she smiles.
“Perhaps that would be best,” Cullen admits, pulling back and looking like he had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
Myra, on the other hand, laughs. “No, no. Let us continue. I apologise for the distraction. Josie, you had another option for me?”
