Rise in POP!
This week on “Rise in POP!”, we will be talking about what would happen if world war III happened and wiped out a few billion people. It is said that if such thing would ever occur, it would have little effect on the population trajectory. Studies show that even if billions of people were killed, the estimated population for 2100 is 12 million people. An interesting statistic came out about our current population. Our population is about 14% of all humans that have ever lived. Just to give a perspective, if 2 billion people were wiped out right now, in 2100 it is estimated that the population will be back up to 9 billion people. THE WORLD MUST CHANGE!
