i tend to complete a manga, picking up wherever the anime left off. years ago i completed dungeon meshi just for the sake of avoiding spoilers (bad habit, i know. i'm out of it now)

and then i reread them and ohhh my goddd tears were NOT stopping. the way laios still had that sad look on his face even though freaking shuro was patting him on the back (he hugged him!!! like omg that's so important to me), isolating himself behind a tree to ponder, so quite and pessimistic despite being the yappiest blabbering nerd of the whole dungeon. ntm mithrun's emotional realization that he is in fact not a waste of time. not a waste of anything at all. oh ryoko kui how i love and adore your characters.
