NERVE fanfic

Mostly everyone know the game Truth or Dare, but has you already heard about Nerve?
It´s ab book written by Jeanne Ryan and the base of the movie Nerve. It was written in 2010 and the movie comes out in 2016.
The movie: A high school senior finds herself immersed in an online game of truth or dare, where her every move starts to become manipulated by an anonymous community of `watchers.´
The movie is about a dangerous game named Nerve. It´s like Truth or Dare, but without the truth. You can chose between Watcher and Player. As a Player you get risky dares to do, for example lie under a driving train. If you get more dares to do, you get more attention from the Watchers and get more money. Watchers pay to watch the game in the internet, sometimes they even make the dares. It seems like a funny game at the beginning but soon the game knows everything about the Player and the dares are all based on your internet activities. Venus (Vee) Delmonico is the main character of the story. She is the acme of a wallflower. But as her friend Sydney tells her about the new game Nerve, Vee tries the first dare. Kiss a stranger for five seconds. The stranger is a motorbike driving handsome guy, who was chosen by Nerve to be Vee´s new partner. Together they do the next life risking dares to get more money. For example driving eyeless on a street in the middle of New York or lying under a driving train. At the end the game shows his true face. Vee and Ian can´t get out of the game until they finish the last dare.

The book: Are you playing the game, or is the game playing you ?
Vee doesn't know if she has the guts to play NERVE, an online game of high-stakes dares. But whoever's behind the game knows exactly what she wants, enticing her with lust-worthy prizes and a super hot partner.
With Ian on her team, it's easy to agree to another dare. And another. And another.
At first it's thrilling, as the manipulative audience, or `Watchers´, cheer them on to riskier challenges. But things quickly get out of hand.
Will Vee an Ian risk their lives for the Grand Prize dare? Or will they lose NERVE?
For us the book has more details about little Vee getting into this dangerous game. In the book the dares are also different. The dares are more perverse, for example she has to ask strangers in a chastity community for condoms. Ian as her partner helps her with her dares, as well as Vee helps him. They met in Vee´s seconds dare and become partners.
But as well as with the movie you have to read the book.
Our opinion of both
For us the book was better, but the movie has definitely more action in it. The book gives more information about Vee and her life. For example her parents are main part of the story, because they think Vee wanted to kill herself one month ago so give her a curfew past 10 o´clock. It´s also more clear why Vee act like she does.
The movie on the other side makes the game look even more dangerous than the book. The dares in the movie are more life risking and more stupid.
Why we chose Nerve?
Because is something very different to normal books. It´s all about a game that everyone know and the most of us has already played it. It´s a funny game on parties but to find out that you can turn such a game in something very dangerous. We think it is also very interesting to see how dangerous it could get, if you give the internet to much information about oneself.

PEOPLE, PEOPLE, PEOPLE! I just watched Nerve and I love it! Now when I think about it, I wouldn’t mind joining the game as a Player. It’d be intense, at least! Let’s just not include the deadly dares, lol! Also, I’d love to read the book! I just need to find it in Bulgarian... xD
