My winnings from the Time Machine cover contest last year Context: Joe Hawley announced a competition on Instagram asking for covers of 'Time Machine' (and later 'White Ball'). The winner was announced by Matt Altruda on Tree Town Sound. and I won! Here's my winning entry: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8NFjeGgSMo It's a boxed NES MINI, from what I can tell it's unused, still in it's original casing. The CD is an '05 Marvin's that was sealed, but I pried the CD and the booklet out of it, and the CD works fine! It also came with a letter, which reads:

Josh,

Thank you for sharing your ⚡️wicked⚡️ "Time Machine" cover! The included CD is a house (attic) fyre survivor, so functionality 「& "safety"?」is "not guaranteed"! Grand wishes, •JRH• of "Miracle Musical"

Link’s Awakening DX got all of its “YAHOO!”s removed for the Virtual Console and replaced with “HELLO!”s and “YIPPEE!”s:

The original Zelda has also had multiple text changes over the years (I cover the version differences in my book). A recent example - it took Nintendo 30 years but they finally fixed their “penninsula” typo in the NES Mini version:

Breath of Fire 2 had some text changes before hitting the Virtual Console too:

And since “Othello” is a trademarked game name, this reference got removed from the script before the VC release:
