I think I might be starting to get the hang of felting :P

This Koopa was a good exercise in simple shaping, and I actually had core wool this time so I added all the colours on after construction.

Obvs early gaming sprites have some nice simple shapes and limited colour palettes for me to practice, and I'm really happy with this little guy!

He looks a bit derpy from the front b/c trying to make 3d things of a 2d sprite can be weird, and he has inspo from the more detailed Koopas with the lines on his belly.

I might try the modern two-legged Koopa in the future, perhaps a red Paratroopa 🤔

For a game called Star Captain. It never really came to fruition. I wanna say I did this back in 2014. I only animated the jacket flowing, the base sprite, I’m unsure who created it.

Funny enough, the blink animation was asked to be extended when there wasn’t any room to move the pixels to add more frames. So I came up with the idea of just simply having the color fade to give the illusion of more frames.

Another sprite I made. This time being a more simpler and sprite with a basic shape. My girlfriend calls him Globber.
