Hi, sorry for popping like that in ur dms, but I'm having a hard time figuring stuff out and I believe I have no one to talk about that. Okay so I've been going out with a girl for a past few weeks, it went well and I guess I might be in love with her and she's in love with me too (we hugged a lot and I've kissed her on the cheek a couple of times). The thing is, I don't know, whether or not I'm actually desperate for a relationship or really in love, (1/3)

bc I scold myself constantly that I think abt her only on “appropriate times” such as whenever I’m feeling down Also she’s going away this summer for 8 years (or less) and I don’t know is she will be visiting my hometown in the meantime So I’m stuck here, overanalysing and trying to calculate if I should go for it and spend my time and energy on that relationship or not (2/2, whoops I thought it would be 3 asks)

oof that seems like a lot hun :( i would maybe have a conversation with her about what ur relationship means long term bc if ur not 100% committed to it this early on, will u be several years in the future and with distance? it’s okay if things dont work out like sometimes people aren’t compatible and it’s hard to figure it out especially for women dating women bc we think we wont find someone else who will give us attention, when that’s not true. ily and good luck with everything !!
