Hey! It's been a while since I've posted anything. I've decided to use this blog not only to post my art, but to also reach out to people in the gaming community and maybe make some new friends!
So as you can see, I have the Amiibo fever. I bought my first one (Mario, who is my main) at the Smash Bros WiiU launch at the Nintendoworld store, and a buddy of mine surprised me with a Villager (my other main) shortly after. I was content. I thought that was it. Around Christmas time, I bought a few as gifts for my cousins and since there was a promotion I picked up a Link and Samus for myself. Fast forward a few months and I'm waiting outside for stores to open in the freezing cold, just to secure the Amiibo I need for my collection. I can't explain it. It's completely ridiculous. I'm dreading the lengths one will have to go to secure a Ness. I will say that although I find the functionality to be limited, the figures themselves are absolutely beautiful. The amount of detail on King Dedede is insane.
I am now open to trades within the US through my Etsy Shop! I am looking for amiibos, videogames, art, basically any game-related items. If there's something you like in the shop, shoot me a message on Etsy saying what you're interested in, and what you're offering. I've made a few trades in person recently and I've met some really cool people. I could use more of that in my life, so please don't be shy!
Speaking of shy, my Nintendo Network ID is "shyhusband."Now- I am neither shy, nor a husband. I just thought it'd be funny to see the message on your screen "you've been sniped by shyhusband" while playing an online shooter or something. Anyways, I hope some of you will add me! I'm all about Smash on WiiU, and I also play Mario Kart 8 but not as religiously. I love a good fight =)
I'm currently working on a commission project that should hopefully be done by the end of the week. That's all for now, gotta get some shut-eye!
