Nest timeline!
This is a little idea that I had for a couple of years now, and I promised myself that would do it once I moved out since it’s been a month since doing so, it’s about time I get it together!
14/12/22: Ah, creature’s first nest. I was doing for a bit prior to this photo but I was rather proud of this set up in particular, little did I know it was just the beginning…
27/8/23 + 3/9/23: I got rid of the purple jacket underneath, as you can see the first one is still messy and vaguely nest shaped while the second is still a little sloppy but a bit more nest shaped than the previous attempt
29/9/23 + 2/10/23 + 21/11/23 + 4/12/23: I really upped my nesting game with this! I placed a cute pastel knitted quilt underneath giving a really cutesy vibe and the progression from a sloppy nest shape to a full even nest wall is very apparent and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come <3
11/12/23: I went to stay with my Nana and I tried to make do without my awesome comfy nest
22/12/23: Then I came back to tragedy that required serious emergency wash because the stupid cat puke on my bed 😭
25/21/23: Thankfully everything was washed by the time Christmas Day
27/12/23: Due to that event, I made the precautions to ensure that my nest was well protected while I went to stay with my Nana again :/
18/1/24 + 25/12/24: I returned with a new blanket that I decided to use as a cover to against protect my precious nest
28/2/24: My nest was finally back to its even walled glory ft. Before blanket cover and after blanket cover :3
29/3/24: A month later…
6/8/24: More mess than nest with this one and the the massive gap is the simple fact that I fell into a weird state where I neglected to do maintenance on my nest because my brain was too focus on just getting through the day and waiting for the Parentals to give me a concrete date after changing it twice. Also at this time I just ordered a bed tent and I was waiting for that to arrive before I assemble a proper nest.
27/8/24: AND VOLA! My glorious new nest inside a bed tent! I going to order some fairy lights to give it a more cozy vibe. I am so happy that I finally have the mental and physical space for myself now that I inhabit a low strung environment VwV
