This is Erynne Scopum (adopted from @mik-mania)! He is very personable and can often be found hanging out around wherever all of the cool kids are. If you happen to strike up a conversation with him, you’ll find that it is remarkably easy to just sort of slip into a natural back and forth. He is the type of person that can talk for a really long time, and it seems like they’re an open book, but it turns out that he actually has no interest in being honest about HIMSELF. Turns out he’s just always saying whatever he thinks will get his conversational partner to give him all of their dirty little secrets. The important thing is that he’s never prying! If it’s not something he can make happen naturally, he’ll just have to find it out another way.
He lives in an as-of-yet named city that is governed by two, count em two, GHBS instead of one. Even more interesting, their church actually allows non-purple bloods to be (not clown) members of their congregation and do so as a means to offer protection to lowbloods that decide they want to be class traitors, but we can talk about that place later.
Erynne happens to be a maroon blood! And he’s really good at weaseling into places he doesn’t belong. Before getting in good with the church he’s part of now, he kept himself safe by selling information (about rebel causes) to the highest bidder (any government official that was looking for it.) I haven’t decided what about him lets him get away with doing it all the time, I think he’s just really good at doing most of that in the shadows and not making it obvious that he’s selling out the cause.
At the double clown church, Erynne is a little obsessed with the power dynamic of His Unshakeable Presence, His Indomitable Rhetoric, and the not purple blooded third, Their Dutiful Mediator. Particularly the fact that Mediator seems to hold just as much sway as the other two. He works hard to help them rid their city of the rebel influences found within, if it means he can get three seconds of face time with her. (lol??)
