no but to answer your question seriously and properly. it’s yuri. it wasnt tagged as yuri when it came out but it’s blatantly about two closeted girls struggling with their feelings for each other and rly complex emotions and the very tough choices that come up at the end of high school. iirc last year or so it was featured in a list of queer movies for a screening tho. and i genuinely do consider it one of the best queer movies (in general, like, taking into account western movies too) ever made. it’s so painfully intimate and portrays their yearning and struggles (clinging to each other vs trying to set one another free) in such an evocative, meaningful way. it’s a great movie too overall, one of kyoani’s finest imo (yamada naoko is a genius director after all… her iconic Expressive Legs ngh) bah. it’s genuinely rly good and i can never rewatch again
