today is a ‚fuck it I'll do it scared‘ kind of day.
I have to have at least three beers in me to send networking emails and even then I scream through the whole process like I’m relocating a shoulder or something
People make me sick.
No, I mean the stress of having to deal with people, and all the ways they can affect me, literally makes me nauseous.
*squints*
1. I am absolutely thrilled that my Twitter networking is working and that I have geek & gamers starting to follow me.
2. Holy shit, I have geeks following me who are near the Twitter famous title!
Yeah, I’m having a dash of imposter syndrome because my Twitter stuff is mostly writing and public interest stories (along with politics) with the occasional geeking out over game or movie announcements. I don’t do enough conversation on video games yet on my Twitter to feel like I should have anyone above 100 followers following me.
My favorite part of the evening's networking was when I said "I write historical fiction" when asked if I write fiction to hide the fact I write embarrassing smut about a founding father.
Up with insomnia and trying to write a professional email. I am bad at this. like, terribly bad.
