This is a LAN network cable tester. This device is used to verify the existence of a conductive path between the ends of the cable. This device also verifies the correct wiring of connectors on the cable. It operates on the power of a 9V battery Cable tester . This device has two modular connector female sockets of size 8 pin and 6 pins. The master and remote are detachable pairs, they can be separately used if detaching is required. A simple ON/OFF switch is also attached at the front of the device. A green colour indicator light also glows when the device is ready to use.
