Student Government: The Student Government Association represents the student body and promotes relationships between the student body, faculty and administration. They support the social, cultural, spiritual and educational activities of the University.
Student Activities Board: The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a standing committee of the Student Government Association (SGA) which helps to foster a successful student life program on campus by providing social, educational, cultural, spiritual and recreational activities. The SAB is responsible for campus programming like concerts, comedians, and trips.
Active Minds: This is a student-run mental health awareness, education, and advocacy group. The organization works to increase students’ awareness of mental health issues, provide information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourage students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serve as liaison between students and the mental health community.
Black Student Union: Black Student Union (BSU) provides an intellectual, cultural and social environment for students as well as community members. Black Student Union strives for academic excellence and promotes cultural awareness.
Boogie Knights: The Boogie Knights celebrates the art of dance through dance classes and performances.
Campus Ministry: Register for this group if you'd like to join Campus Ministry, which includes community service, retreats, spiritual programs, and immersion trips.
Cheerleading: This organization provides entertainment at sports events and other activities held by Neumann.
Christina Brame Gospel Choir: The purpose of this organization is to encourage students’ collegiate experiences in Christian interfaith and spiritual awareness through song. The Choir is named in honor and memory of Christina Brame, the former advisor to the choir and a Building Coordinator for the Office of Residence Life. Christina’s passion for students, love for music, and deep rooted faith are part of the threads woven into the fabric that embraces the mission and vision of gospel choir – to celebrate the experience and His praise in song.
Coffee and Conversation Club: The Coffee & Conversation Club offers a variety of features beyond sharing of pastries and drinks. These include (1) a specific topic in every meeting and having a guest speaker representing the topic of that particular meeting, (2) the sharing of ideas and thoughts, and (3) earning a special prize by attending meetings. Hey look, if you don’t want to come for the conversation, at least come for the real deal Italian pastries! we promise you'll be like, "Yum!"
Computer and Information Management Club: This club is for students in the CIM major or those who are interested in the CIM major.
Concert Chorale: During the academic year, the University sponsors a Community chorus that offers students, University personnel and community members an opportunity to learn and perform challenging musical pieces. The Chorus rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm.
Dance Team: This organization provides entertainment at sports events and other activities held by Neumann University. The team allows its members to express themselves through the art of dance, create school spirit and a sense of school pride
Fashion for a Cause: This club is designed for students who are interested in fashion and would like to help charitable organizations. Students interested in fashion design, modeling, and other fields are encouraged to join.
History Club: The History Club is an organization for those interested in history and history-related topics.
Honors Club: This group is comprised of students from the Honors program.
Ice Hockey Club: The purpose and mission of this club is the allow Neumann students to complete in ice hockey on a club level and in local leagues.
Intramurals: Intramural sports are open to all members of the Neumann University community. Past sports have included flag football, volleyball, soccer and basketball. There are opportunities for students to play as well as assist with the planning and record keeping.
Jazz Band: The Neumann University Jazz Band will utilize its members' knowledge of music to serve its surrounding community.
Knights for Education is a club to support the importance of scholarship. The club services the community by collaborating with the University's Child Development Center and working with local schools to establish a higher level of learning. In 2011-2012, Knights for Education was elected club of the year for their servant-leadership to Neumann and the surrounding community.
Knights for Life: Knights for Life is a pro-life group that helps advocate a culture of life both on campus and throughout the community.
Neumann Athletic Training Students: NATS is an educational organization for Athletic Training students, and students interested in Athletic Training.
Media Club: Media Club is a group comprised of all the media groups on campus: Radio, TV, and Newspaper
Mock Trial Club: The Mock Trial Club gives students
an opportunity to see how a court case is prepared and litigated. Real world cases are discussed and the strategy and tactics of how a case is litigated are explored.
Personal Finance Club: The purpose of this club is to plan and research investment opportunities while focusing on the stock market and other forms of financial investment. The goal of the club is to show members how to properly evaluate potential investments.
The University Players: A company of students, faculty, staff and alumni who produce two or more plays a year, involved students have the opportunity to perform, manage, design, market or participate in technical crews of the productions.
Pleasantly Plump Club: This club meets to discuss positive self-image and hosts speakers around wellness issues.
Sister Bernadette McGinnis Memorial Poetry Club: The Poetry Club celebrates all poetry in memory of Sister Bernadette McGinnis, who so loved poetry of all kinds.
Praise Dancers: The purpose of this organization is to use the art of dance to praise God. The Neumann Praise Dancers will dance at prayer services and other events upon request. They will also perform during one showcase per semester.
Psychology Club: The purpose of this club is to provide opportunities for students to enhance understanding and appreciation of psychology through a variety of social and educational activities.
Residence Life Advisory Board: The Residence Life Advisory Board is a standing committee of the Student Government Association. Its purpose is to advise residence life staff on policies and procedures governing the residence life program and assist with programs for the resident population.
Roller Hockey: This club sport provides students with a competitive organization to play roller hockey. More Info
Sport & Entertainment Management Majors Club: This club is for students currently enrolled in or interested in the Sport and Entertainment Management major.
Students for Environmental Awareness: Students for Environmental Awareness club’s goals are to uphold the Franciscan values of caring for creation by promoting awareness of environmental issues, and offering service opportunities to help the environment.
Student Nurses Association: The Student Nurses Association provides opportunities for students to enhance understanding and appreciation of nursing through a variety of social and educational activities.
Student Peace Alliance: The SPA helps facilitate an attitude of peace and caring for all people and creation on campus through various activities and events.
Wellness Educators: Participants in this group work to create a culture of Wellness on the Neumann Campus. This is accomplished in part by informing peers on various issues that impact wellness. WE participants research and present productive and healthy ways to address life issues that are relevant to college age students. The goal of the “WE” peer educators is to empower students to be the best they can be by offering programs or by just being there for them.

Welcome to Commuter Student Programs and Services. Our sole purpose is to help you, as current or future commuter student, navigate through your Neumann University experience.
If you’re commuting to Neumann, or are planning to commute, you’re not alone. Commuter students make up about 55 percent of the undergraduate student body.
We understand that being a commuter student can present many challenges. Not only do you need to deal with the daily commute, but often you need to balance home, social and academic responsibilities.
We provide a number of services and programs to help you, as a commuter student, participate in campus activities and feel more connected to Neumann. And while we can’t do anything about the traffic jams or train delays, we are here to make sure best you have the best possible experience.
This site is one of the ways to help keep you connected and informed! Being a commuter student does not exclude you from campus life. On the contrary, you should make sure to become connected and involved.
