Headcanon: Babe's folks were obsessed with raising a "prefect Southern gentleman" so he had to learn manners and stuff which basically meant a lot of emotional suppression and eventually they forced some sort of "quiet hands" thing on him and it still fucks him up a little

honestly i was thinking the Exact same thing like ollie having to deal with some ABA-type bullshit which is why hes such a stickler for rules and social norms and why hes so hard on stan about it because that was how he was treated growing up
