The humid month of August brings with it not only sunny skies and auroric sunsets for Rustberg Village, but also a few changes in schedule as well.
Until further notice, Heart of the Raven tavern & inn will be hosting its Monday Mixers on the second and fourth Mondays of the month! Yes, this means our events are now bi-weekly. There are many reasons behind this, none of them being that we want to interact less with you! We have new things in store, a more focused & embellished village for any who visit, as well as a bit of a reprieve for the staff.
Look for monthly calendars to begin going up at the start of every month! There will be a themed night on one of the two nights we run the mixer - we hope you look forward to some entertainment, exotic menus and even more rambunctious frivolity.
Thank you for understanding! If you have any questions, please be sure to ask.
(Note - Maelstrom Nightclub will still be held as it always has, the first Friday of the month at 7pm)
<Court of Eternity> is an elven-based guild seeking to reunite all of elvenkind in an effort to strengthen Azeroth against her many threats, as well as strengthen the bonds of the elven peoples. We are a casual, social RP guild; what that means is we like to focus on world RP, social RP, and server events! We know that adulthood means busy lives, and we want our guild to be a chill and relaxing place to RP at one’s own pace. We are based on Wyrmrest Accord, but accept RPers from all servers. As such, events and our officer availability is listed in WrA Server Time, or Pacific Standard Time.
OOC RULES
Be respectful. Don't be a jerk. Behavior that is unacceptable includes but isn't limited to: harassment, gossip, rumor-mongering, hate speech, and elitist behavior.
Communicate your problems. We are adults here and it's expected we handle any problems as adults. Unless the situation is extreme, please make all attempts to solve any interpersonal issues between the involved parties before involving an officer/the GM.
No godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc. Keep IC and OOC separate; blending and taking IC/OOC or vice versa is not permitted.
The acknowledgment must be completed and posted in the appropriate channel before you will be given access to the whole of the discord.
No NSFW content in the discord. If you're unsure if something like art qualifies for NSFW, please DM a Speaker. Anything that may toe the line may require censoring.
Know that by wearing our guild tag, you represent our guild whether you're IC or not. See Rule 1.
While we are a casual and social guild, we do try to adhere to lore as best we can, and ask our members to do the same. Please no relations of major NPCs, cross-IP characters, etc.

HOW TO JOIN THE COURT OF ETERNITY
Any elf may be any rank within the Court. We accept blood elves, high elves, night elves, void elves, nightborne, darkfallen, half-elves, and felblood. Wretched are not accepted. San'layn will be treated on a case by case basis.
Non-elves are welcome to support the Court, but they will only be granted the rank of Ally.
You must have the basics of your TRP filled out, including the basic information, a current appearance, and a brief summary of history.
You can join at a recruitment event such as a Guild Faire, or seek out a Speaker in RP. There will be a brief OOC interview to ensure the rules are understood and agreed to, and a brief IC interview to get your character acquainted with a Speaker.
Throughout neutral and contested territory on Azeroth, Draenor and Outland, some recruitment flyers for The Redeemed (Moon Guard-US) have been posted.
We, The Redeemed, work for the protection of Azeroth, and to give sanctuary to the oppressed and the outcasts, and to those who simply reject the banners of Alliance and Horde. Though misunderstood and mistrusted, we stand proudly, confident in our mission to help anyone in need, from the smallest gnome to the tallest troll, the half-blood and the full, mortal or otherwise.
FAQ
Why have I never heard of you?
We have thus far kept ourselves relatively under wraps, mostly for safety's sake. There is a notable stigma against those who belong to neither faction.
Who are your leaders?
Foxglove Bleakheart and her mate, Perceus Felwhisper, lead the Alliance branch, while Kal'theraa Sunspeaker helps with administrative duties for the Horde branch, known as the Wayfaring Strangers. Father Mal'valen Sunspeaker and Aomaho of Mac'Aree lead the safe haven village of Sun's Peak, open to all of those who are Redeemed.
You mentioned being neutral, but then said that you have an Alliance branch and a Horde branch. What's up with that?
Guilds must be registered with the Alliance or Horde in order to be considered legitimate organizations. Thus we have our two separate branches. For those who are considered one of the Horde races, please contact Kal'theraa (IG: Kaltheraa) or Foxglove (IG: Bleakhearted) for information and assistance.
What sorts of riff-raff do you harbor?
Getting a little judgmental, aren't we? That may be fair though, as there are some skeletons in our closets... oh, I've just been informed that all of our skeletons have actually come out of the closet. My apologies for the misinformation.
In all seriousness, while we are not inclined to call our members "riff-raff," we do have among us some of the living-impaired (what you impolite folk would call "undead"), some rehabilitated or less-than-totally-corrupt folk of some demonic persuasion (namely Satyr), and beastly races not under any faction rule, such as Gnolls and Saberon.
You mentioned half-breeds too. What sort of mongrels have you taken in?
Now you're just being plain rude. We have some half-Elves and half-Draenei/Orcs. Foxglove herself is half-Human. Really, if you want to walk among us, you must learn some manners.
What sort of manners do you expect of those in your organization?
There, that's a decent question. We ask for tolerance and respect at the very least among our ranks. We are a diverse group of individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds who all work toward the same goal. It would be unrealistic to believe that conflict wouldn't rise between our members, but we ask that everyone involved handles it like mature adults in a non-violent manner.
Bigotry toward any other member will receive a single warning - this means racism, sexism, or any sort of intolerance toward one's gender identity or sexual orientation. Any future incidents will be met with removal from the organization.
Doesn't that seem a little harsh?
No.
I'm a criminal trying to escape my faction's laws. Can I join you?
We do not accept those who are convicted criminals attempting to skirt their faction's laws because that would get us in a great deal of hot water with said faction. We will accept ex-criminals or those who have been pardoned but still find themselves unwelcome within their prior factions, so long as those individuals meet the main requirements we have for generally being decent people. This is also dependent on the sort of crime for which the individual had been convicted.
To sum up, as long as you are kind, respectful, and can see with eyes unclouded by hate, you will be welcome among us.
OOC Information under the cut:
Woo! About time I wrote this recruitment post up. We’re a heavy RP cross-faction guild on Moon Guard-US, and we’re glad you’re taking the time to read this intro post! There's a bit of OOC info that I need to mention though if you have any interest in the guild:
Don't be a jerk. Just like our characters, we're a very diverse group. If you hold any sort of intolerance - racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. - then I ask that you please seek out another guild.
Conflict needs to be handled like mature adults. However, if someone in the guild is making you extremely uncomfortable to the point that you can't mention it to that person, we encourage you to seek out any of the leadership for help addressing it.
No one is required to RP to join. If you just want a safe place away from hatred and bigotry, and some fun people to hang out with, you are absolutely welcome to join us.
There will be no mocking of anyone's MRPs, nor will there be any unsolicited critiques offered, period. We're not here to play RP police. Everyone is entitled to play pretend how they see fit, and if you don't like it, don't play with them. If we get reports that guildies are doing this, you'll get a single warning, followed by expulsion for subsequent offenses.
Reports of general harassment toward others - in guild or out - will result in the offending party being removed from the guild, no ifs, ands, or buts. We expect everyone who joins to be mature and to treat others with respect. If you cannot do that, whether or not it’s toward another guildie, then you do not belong in this guild.
Players over the age of 21 are preferred, but we won't bar anyone from joining based solely on age as long as you are up front and honest about your age at the get-go, and can handle yourself like a mature adult. If you're under 18, it is even more important that we know, for your own safety and ours.
We also have a raiding guild on Sargeras! If you decide you want to raid, but have trouble finding a group on Moon Guard, you're welcome to roll or transfer a character there to join us. Currently, our raids are on hiatus, but we'll be starting up again once Legion is released. We also totally RP over there - the addon XRP helps a ton with this, because it works cross-realm.
And that's it! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via @perceus or @malvalen-ooc, and Foxglove, a.k.a. Fox, via @direbearfox. My BattleTag is Malvalen#1353, and Fox's is Fox#1454 (posted with permission).
